This swim route is designed for speed… Those who are seeking a fast racing route should look no further.

Clockwise swim route
Wet start at closest buoy
Head out-to-sea past buoy 2.
Right-shoulder turn at buoy 2 and head for buoy 3 (5*). Right-shoulder at buoy 3 and head for buoy 4(6*). Right-should and head for buoy 0 (start)
(Longer routes (2x/3x) swim to offset buoy and right-shoulder outbound)
Wet finish at closest buoy

Meet at Clifton 4th,
Sign-in at recorder’s desk (indicating race number),
Acclimatise while awaiting the race briefing,
Listen to the race briefing and take note of any route changes,
High-five the headcount controllers,
Pose for a Group pic, Swim to start buoy
Under Starters Orders,
Swim the demarcated route (and listen to any instruction from water safety team),
Touch finish buoy. Exit water
Take sequenced finish-tag to recorder’s desk,
Attend the awards presentation & lucky draw
